Where is attorney general Jeff Sessions? Where does he go every morning? Is he even still alive?
By all evidence, he’s doing next to nothing to enforce the law as it applies to people at the very highest levels of government. From what we can see, assistant attorney general Rod Rosenstein has swapped roles with Sessions. Functionally, it appears that Rosenstein is the AG and that to the extent that Sessions has any role, it’s to keep quiet and fetch Rosenstein’s coffee.
Initial enthusiasm over President Trump’s nomination of Jeff Session didn’t take long to fade. Early on, Sessions famously recused himself from the Deep State/sore loser-Democrat-inspired ‘Russian collusion’ investigation – an investigation led by special counsel Robert Mueller and perhaps the most blatantly political criminal investigation in U.S. history. The president vigorously objected to that recusal. But it doesn’t matter. On the subject of Trump and Russia, the AG stands recused.
Fine.
But where is he on everything else?
Former FBI director James Comey all but confessed to obstruction of justice – among other felonies – in his just-released book and in his interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos. Comey accuses Andrew McCabe, his former deputy at the FBI, of lying. McCabe returns the accusation. For once, both men may be right. We know that the Justice Department inspector general issued a scathing report on McCabe, accusing him of lying to the FBI among other sins.
In other quarters, FBI agent Peter Strzok and his Justice Department paramour Lisa Page left a string of text messages that clearly implicate them in a conspiracy to affect the outcome of a criminal investigation and, by extension, the 2016 presidential election. Is a grand jury referral even being discussed?
Upon being found out for using her position to unfairly and illegally target political groups whose views she did not like, former IRS official Lois Lerner invoked the fifth amendment and then ran for the tall grass. No one expected the Obama Justice Department to take any action against Ms. Lerner. But the current Justice Department now answers (at least in theory) to a Republican president.
Speaking of attorneys general, former AG Loretta Lynch very famously met privately with Bill Clinton even while Bill’s wife Hillary was the subject of a criminal investigation. At the very minimum that constitutes an ethical violation. It’s possibly also a criminal violation.
And the biggest fish of all – Hillary Clinton – is so obviously guilty of multiple felonies regarding her handling of classified documents, obstruction of justice, the taking of bribes, influence peddling, self-dealing while in office and violation of laws concerning the charitable foundation that bears her name – that to try to assert otherwise is just plain silly. Even Democrats know that Hillary Clinton is dirty.
Yet the Justice Department does nothing. It now seems obvious that Mrs. Clinton will get a pass on behaviors that would land you or me in federal prison.
So where is Jeff Sessions? Has anyone seen him?
Should we put out an Amber Alert?
Beyond the deep state lies the police state, the ultimate Clinton and Obama land. Something is very much out of kilter. Do the deep staters–bureaucrats and “progressives”–have something on Jeff Sessions? That might explain his supine invisibility. And if not, he is the smallest of men, even in a government where most men stand at best knee high to a Washington or Reagan. The deep state was pretty much getting its way until President Trump came along. Now it is desperate to regain traction. Running over the president and all he stands for is their single-minded goal. We can’t let that happen.
The establishment–politically made up of both democrats and rinos–some of whom have actively schemed to undermine our duly elected President, Donald Trump. In case this cabal within the establishment does not know, they are subverting The Constitution of The United States, if not committing outright treason against We The American People.
This must STOP!
I still believe in and hold Attorney General Jeff Sessions in the highest esteem. And I trust that he is hard at work to bring to justice those in our federal government who have plotted to undermine the President, as President Trump was lawfully elected “Of, By, and For The People.” I voted for President Trump as did multiple millions of other American citizens. He won fair and square.
Make no mistake, “if” Democrats should unfortunately take over control of The House and/or The Senate in November, the fishing expedition against President Trump, which is based on balderdash and lies will continue, if not expand, going down a very dark path for our beloved Constitutional Republic, putting the President and his MAGA agenda in serious peril.
For many reasons [the above alone however is reason enough], I will be voting straight Republican down the ballot to oppose every Democrat with my one vote. Congressman Louie Gohmert and Senator Ted Cruz are two of the finest individuals We The People of Texas as well as for the good of the entire United States have to represent us in our nation’s Capitol, in my humble opinion.
In no case, will I ever vote for any Democrat, as they have lost their way and no longer represent the American way of life and traditional Christian values upon which our grand country was established as One Nation Under God.
May God Bless The United States of America
and our President…
President Donald Trump!
I wouldn’t exactly call Mr. Sessions a WOLF in sheep’s clothing because he doesn’t have the teeth for that…perhaps the sly and wily coyote who slinks around in the shadows fits him better. One thing is for sure, he can not be trusted.
Can we take a moment to try to visualize the present tragedy with a president Obama and an A.G. Holder? No, it doesn’t take a moment, because it would have never happened! A.G. Sessions betrayed our president and the country when he accepted the nomination and then recused himself from the Russia probe. We should never forget that Sessions is also is a card-carrying member of the establishment, and this may even require more loyalty than being a cabinet member. There should be a constitutional amendment that requires candidates have at least some experience in the private sector. At the very least, we need term limits. In the meantime, I will be looking for his picture on my milk cartons, and searching every nook and corner for our elusive attorney general.
Can we make the Alert a silver? Maybe we need to sew name tags in his clothes. Because he seems to have forgotten what’s his job!!
