Lefty freak out.

Earlier this week, Politico.com published a leaked draft of what appears to be a potential majority opinion of the Supreme Court that could overturn the high court’s 1973 Roe v. Wade decision.
Immediately, countless thousands of lefty heads exploded. The hysteria on the Left – particularly among coastal elites – would be laughable if the subject matter weren’t so serious.
Here are a couple of choice examples, starting with President Biden.
What are the next things that are going to be attacked? Because this MAGA crowd is really the most extreme organization that’s existed in American history.”
With all due respect Mr. President, a couple of things. First, MAGA isn’t an organization. There is no national MAGA headquarters. One cannot donate money to, or volunteer for, MAGA. MAGA consists of nothing more than the 63 million Americans who voted for Donald Trump in 2016 and the 74 million who voted for him in 2020.
Second, with respect to extremism, you seem to have forgotten the Weather Underground, Students for a Democratic Society and the Symbionese Liberation Army on the left, and the Ku Klux Klan and the Aryan Brotherhood on the right.
And last, calling 74 million people who voted against your party extremists seems out of sync with the ”unity” you promised us at your inauguration.
Moving on, here’s an unhinged Vice President Kamala Harris.
How dare they tell a woman what she can do and cannot do with her own body? How dare they try to stop her from determining her own future? How dare they try to deny women their rights and their freedoms?”
Again, with due respect, Madame Vice President, Justice Samuel Alito’s draft opinion does no such thing. I have read all 96 pages of it (unlike you, madame, I am certain), and boiled down it simply says what informed detractors of the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision have been saying for nearly 50 years.
Here’s the money quote.
It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives. [quoting Justice Antonin Scalia] ‘The permissibility of abortion, and the limitations, upon it, are to be resolved like most important questions in our democracy: by citizens trying to persuade one another and then voting.’”
It’s that whole thing about having to persuade that has the Left in a tizzy. The Left can read a poll. According to Gallup, 19 percent of Americans believe that abortion should never be legal, and another 48 percent believe that it should be legal only under certain circumstances. That’s two out of three. That’s a lot of persuading the Left knows they can never get done.
The Left finds it inconvenient that we live in a constitutional republic comprised of 50 sovereign states. What’s more, the Left has no interest whatsoever in trying to persuade anyone of anything. They live by diktat. That’s why they like an activist court.
Alito’s leaked opinion is the very antithesis of judicial activism. And that’s why lefties like Kamala Harris are so freaked out.
Just a sidenote Paul, the 74 million votes for Trump were the 74 million that were counted, no telling how many were stolen.

Think it would be safe to say that those who protest so strongly against the PROLIFERS have never given thought about what if THEIR mothers had been able to abort them…wouldn’t you say?
With the exception of the first line item below, men overwhelmingly are responsible for the enumerated fatalities.
Compare the first line item to the others. Clearly, American women armed with abortion doctors are arguably the most lethal gender when matched against men armed with guns, as well as when matched against plagues both modern and historic.

The freak-out that Paul describes is somewhat understandable, as these leftists are supporting a movement, which not only is responsible for some of the statistics that Buddy cites, but one that will be more and more horrific as history books are written. It would be very difficult to accept and apologize for the butchery that will surely be attributed to this dark period in our history. The human mind is not capable of internalizing the realization that “I was an accessory to that atrocity”; therefore, these freak-outs are the only reaction that is compatible with sanity. We must also understand that there are “rent-a-mobs” that can be mobilized at the snap of a finger and the greasing of the palm. They are only useful idiots! I would like to think that as more and more scientific evidence is presented, the leaders of this movement would get on their knees and pray for forgiveness, but again, the human mind is not capable of accepting such guilt.
To Buddy’s point; these ARE NOT puppies and kittens, we are actually debating human life. That is the reality that makes me ill, when I think of this subject; human babies. I am a biology degree holder who took a deep interest in the formation of human life and other animal life. We hear the debate that at a certain point in fetal development, ALL animals appear similar. O.K. so what?!?! The DNA of the other animal life is “animal” life; not human. What part of Human Beings, do we not get (don’t be a smart arse and say humans are animals)? Seems about everything. Again, these are NOT canine, equine, bovine, feline, pieces, reptilian, amphibian, etc. The morality of this subject is really not debatable; when a human sperm cell fertilizes a human egg cell, a human is conceived. IT CANNOT be anything else; period end of story.
The out and out lies of the Democrats and in particular Chuck Schumer is criminal on this subject. Are Republicans pure, pristine, and just; NO. But the Democrats that are on the boob-tube, radio, and podcasts, are unethical, immoral, and plain ole liars on this subject. Does anyone really know the Constitution of the United States of America? Doesn’t seem they do with the outrageous comments being slung around like Pine Tree pollen in March. The Left is doing what they do best; spin the truth; which is lie. The Left are true idiots because the do not or will not understand this is a gift to them. Wooooaaaa Nelly , What? A Gift?
Yes Sir and Ma’am; if the Legal Right to an Abortion is returned to the States; the deep blue states can do whatever the heck they want a.k.a. California, New York, Illinois; which seem the most radical of the radical blue states. The red states can do what they want. One would think, everyone would be happy, right? Move to a blue state is you are a lefty radical screaming to kill at will; move to a red state if you are a conservative leaning person who views this from a moral aspect.
But, lets remember what Abraham Lincoln said at a critical juncture in American History, “A house divided can never stand”. So goes the USA.
One other observation: I do not think that these freak-out freaks, that we see in a “tizzy” about sending the control of abortions back to the elected state legislators, have any worries about ever needing an abortion. The last time I checked, it takes 2 to tango, and in my humble opinion, these freaks will have a difficult time finding a dance partner.
Poor, outraged “Progressives” are so sad when SCOTUS Rex wants to get back to Lex Rex, rather than ruling on their behalf.
