An American icon passed this week. Please indulge me in my recollections of him.

The Left has done a superb job of placing a tinfoil hat on the head of anyone who still dares to raise questions about the integrity of the November 3 election.
Is America good?
Most on the right believe that America is good. A loud and growing cohort on the left believes that it isn’t.
There’s a word for this.
Let’s increase our word power. The word we’ll learn today is “twaddle.” Webster defines “twaddle” as, “trivial or foolish speech or writing, nonsense.”
At best or at worst.
If President Biden’s administration lives up to the tone of his inaugural, we at best return to governance by the same political class that 63 million Americans in 2016 believed had, for 20 or more years, thoroughly misgoverned the country.
The ugliest of ends.
Lost in all of the chaos is the recognition that Donald Trump was the first president of either party to actually confront really serious problems facing this country.
Irony, thy name is Biden.
Joe Biden’s son has taken in millions of dollars working at no-show jobs for companies and organizations in Ukraine and China – companies and organizations that would greatly benefit from access to the highest levels of the U.S. government.
The Texas suit is a very big deal.
It is unlikely that the Supreme Court will breezily dismiss a suit that is joined by 19 states.
The word ‘hypocrite’ no longer starts with an “H”.
Aside from being politicians, what do the mayors of Austin and Houston and the governors of New York and California have in common?
Trumpism is here to stay.
